Helium's migration to Solana increased HNT burn rates through Data Credits conversion, but unexpectedly accelerated inflation due to three factors: 1) Subnetwork tokens (MOBILE,IOT) now mint from HNT supply, 2) Lower Solana fees increased burn velocity, 3) The HIP-70 proposal altered emission schedules. This highlights DePIN's tokenomic challenges - balancing device incentives with token scarcity. With HNT's circulating supply jumping 40% post-migration, the project must adjust rewards or face continued sell pressure despite network growth.
