Hi everyone, I’d like to recommend the Producer Cypher from “Rap of China: Listen to Me” (2020). This cypher comes from a Chinese TV rap show and is performed by the show’s rap mentors. It is presented in four groups, with two rappers in each group. The mentors are generally well-known and skillful figures in the Chinese hip-hop scene, with the clear exception of the last group, whose primary role is to bring broader mainstream attention and audience traffic to the show.
