The highly anticipated Finalissima between European champions Spain and South American champions Argentina will take place on 27 March 2026 in Qatar. The announcement was made today in a joint statement by the European and South American football confederations.
At the same time, Qatar’s football Local Organizing Committee (LOC) confirmed Lusail Stadium as the venue for the match. This edition of the Finalissima will mark a memorable return for Argentina to a stadium of great significance, where Lionel Messi’s team defeated France to win the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
