When traveling, I carry an collapsible electric pot to brew chai by boiling tea, sugar, spices, milk and water.
Also, many desi folk have their own recipe to make microwave chai that they’ve perfected. You’ll find a crowd discussing the best way to do it in any office kitchen at 4 PM.
