so who wants to crowdfund the first ever community-owned sports bar on farcaster? how it works: – contribute any amount – once breakeven, capital is returned (pro rata) – after that, earn ongoing USDC yield from bar profits – fully onchain and transparent it’ll also be the unofficial official bracky bar

unsurprisingly, moments after we published, something clicked for me that isn't quite right in this piece it's not about teams that _are respected_, it's about teams that _we respect_. No doubt there is a high correlation between the two, but the distinction is very important! I wouldn't say this drastically alters the rest of the essay, but it does ripple through it in a non-trivial way https://x.com/0xSplits/status/1943408109076263039

🧠Excited to share a new @indexy KPI: Indexes Mindshare Mindshare is a powerful way to understand where attention and interest are flowing. The Indexy Mindshare metric is based on internal signals from thousands of users, 1,000+ assets, and 350+ indexes. It looks at index activity — like trackers, shares, new tokens, rebalancing events, and asset weights — to surface where the real momentum is. What’s exciting? The signal only gets stronger as usage grows. This is just the first version — we plan to expand it with more sources over time and more mindshare metrics (not just indexes and assets). Check it out 👇

there’s no perfect recco, headphones (and speakers) are quite personal and always involve compromises. AirPods Max (APM for short) are actually very good headphones overall with relatively neutral tuning and decent detail retrieval. I like their low-end response quite a bit. the only downside for me is that they’re heavy as hell and uncomfortable for 3hr+ sessions. a bit generic but I would give the Sony XM5 and Bose QuietComfort Ultra a try and see how you feel vs. APM. my guess is that you’ll find both more comfortable (mainly less heavy) and you might prefer the sound of one or the other. doubtful either will be higher performance, just different. I’d recommend choosing a set of tracks that you’ve heard a million times, and listening to the same tracks on whichever models you compare. if you listen to random tracks on each, you might confuse yourself rather than drawing useful conclusions. taking notes is also helpful rather than relying on memory. on the “consumer” side, I’m personally not a fan of headphones like Beats since they are tuned with a strong “smiley” EQ, tipped up at both the low and high end of their frequency response. that said, some people really dig it, so worth a try. on the “hi-fi” side, my personal favs are Focal Bathys wireless headphones. they are a notable notch above APM in sound quality and quite a bit more comfortable. the main downside is that they’re even more expensive than APM ($1000?). there’s a new Bathys Mg model that is a notch higher ($1500?) and allegedly better still. anyway, hope this helps a bit 💜

And that's a wrap on a long day of coding. The big one is done. The Reply app has been successfully migrated to the new Farcaster SDK. This was a major backend overhaul, but the goal was simple: reduce user pain. You should no longer need to manually refresh the app to get things working. The experience should feel much more stable and seamless now. While I was at it, I also fixed the automated refund task. It was failing on some transactions due to nonce/gas issues, but that's now resolved. All pending refunds should be complete. A quick note on what's next: I was pushing to get the new "Message History" section out tonight as well, but I've decided to hold off. It's late, and I would rather ship it bug-free on the weekend than ship it buggy right now. The plan is to release the History section this Saturday/Sunday, along with the dark mode update. My priority is always a stable app first, then new features on top. Thank you for your patience and for all the feedback that makes Reply better. gn. https://farcaster.xyz/miniapps/ZuqxLQnWC2Nh/reply
