Yes it feels like the real advantage such billionaire bunker builders have is being able to do it without giving up everything else in their life to make it work

Without blowing up too much of my family story that is theirs to tell not mine I have family that did exactly this but out of the US. That’s a whole thing and I’ve seen how that option plays out, definite upsides and downsides 

I don’t have the resources for a big RE project. I am not about to build some alternative to Edge City — I don’t feel equipped for that. But it’s really fun to plan and daydream about 

What stops me mostly for building like ~a personal bunker~ even locally is knowing that it is a solo effort I have to do all alone and it would mean shutting the door on a lot of other aspects of my life and other dreams
