Since childhood, I always tried to meet my parents' expectations. They dreamed of my successful future—good education, a stable job. They chose a prestigious university and major for me, but I didn’t feel inspired by what I was doing. Eventually, I confessed that I wanted to follow a different path and pursue what I truly loved. My parents took it as a betrayal, and our relationship grew cold. I went my own way, knowing they were no longer proud of me. It was difficult, but I felt that I was living my own life. Our relationship remained strained, and although I couldn’t make them accept my choice, I learned to live with it and move forward.
