some of the most practical applications include:
payments and remittances without banks
decentralized finance (defi) for lending, trading and saving
creator monetization without platform dependency
digital ownership
onchain coordination
global access to financial tools
web3 doesn't replace everything, works best where ownership and borderless access matter most
basically where old systems are slow
