My daughter and I were passing through an old area of a city recently, and I spotted an old payphone as we were about to leave. I try to explain it to her, but she insisted we go check it out in person - so we did. It was out of service, but all the pieces were there so I showed her how it once worked. She said it was "soooo cool" ... meanwhile when I was her age, I thought cellphones were soooo cool 🤣
