this got me in a little hot water so we shall address
it feels weird to see a prominent dev continue do marketing by posting about her body during a product launch, in a setting that is historically populated by mostly guys who respond to that kind of thing
we've seen situations time & time again where ppl have misrepresented themselves, & i bristled up because ppl i know have been scammed in this exact way, w/ very similar behavior patterns
i feel bad this post offended ppl i care about in ways beyond that, & will choose my words more carefully in the future
