oh, this is a cool read. i didn't really know of battle network. i had done some online gaming with friends with unreal, but then got really into school and missed a lot in the mid-late aughts.

What really matters is that sense of connection. You don’t need to physically be in the internet to accomplish that. You just need a step between convenience and effort that makes sense and accommodates connection.
