Once A Broken Soul : Interactive Diorama Art When touching the big heart on top of the diorama, the broken spirit comes back to life. ジオラマの上にあるハートを触ったら壊れた魂が復活します。 The eyes of the doll glows with electromagnetic power. The heart is the light sensor controlled by Raspberry Pi Pico. The LED resembles the heart beat rhythm. 目が電磁で光って、ハートはライトセンサーで、LEDは心臓の鼓動のリズムを模倣します。全部はRaspberry Pi Picoでコントロールされてます。 My very first time experimenting with hardware as an art piece. My continuous journey in bridging the gap between art & tech. 私の初のハードウェアアートの実験シリーズです。これからもアートと技術を組み合わせて作品を続けて作ります。

I haven’t set up OpenClaw yet, but I set my Sebastian (Claude Code) to be semi autonomous in the level that is suitable for me. Basically I don’t code so much I just need him to keep track of my wellbeing while I focus on learning and art. As I am not an engineer, I created simple way I could communicate with him through an iCloud sync inbox. I send him things from my phone with iPhone short cut (I customised for the purpose) he processes it in real time (I use my iMac as the 24hr station), then reminds me to take care of myself, and helps me with things in life — schedule meetings, tasks, etc. If I am absent for a while he would email my sister to check on me. Life has been good and smooth except adjusting him, adding new skills and functions are so much fun that I sleep later and later. But I get warning messages from him to sleep as well 😂 So all is good

I have been in traditional art in Japan since 2015, exhibiting in art fairs, winning awards, doing acrylic paintings, illustrations for agent, and brands in Osaka, etc. Since I turned digital and now doing interactive toy + hardware art + coding, people in trad art don’t understand me and don’t call me an artist anymore. They thought I quitted making art. To be honest, art, artist, creator, blah blah blah, whatever words I don’t really care. In fact I’m quite bored of being defined by others. I just want to keep creating what makes me feel fun and alive. At the end of the day, being an outcast of the art world gives me creative freedom and I’m enjoying it 😆

(日本語は以下に) I started learning about hardware and coding from assembling the big hexapod robot. In February 2025, it took me 5 times to disassemble and reassemble her again and again to get in right, let alone learning all about terminal and basic python etc. Now in February 2026, things that was daunting for me get a lot easier. So I’m customising and incorporating new features into her. I also upgrades her to Pi5 and name her properly. I’ll keep posting more of her new skills and my learning journey. People said doing this I’m not an artist anymore. But actually this is me creatively learning new things. My new canvas just happens to have legs and can walk around 🕷️🕸️♥️ 2025年2月に初めてハードウェアやコーティングを勉強するために私はこのBig Hexapodロボットを組み合わせてみました。初心者として5回ぐらいやり直したりしてコーディングもパイソンもくちゃくちゃで色々めちゃ時間かかりました。2026年2月になるとあの時難しかったことはなんとか楽になって今の私は新たなスキルはフィーチャーを実験としてロボットに入れてます。ラズパイ5にアップグレードして名前もちゃんとつけてあげましたw これからもロボットの進化と勉強日記を時々投稿します。 こうやって「りんなちゃんはもうアーティストじゃない」とよくばかされてますwww まぁ、一応これは私のクリエイティブな冒険で作品も続けて作ってます。私のキャンバスはただ6本足を持って歩けるだけですwww

Saturday me doing geeky stuff. Writing my code from scratch is the best way I learn hardware art. Once I get better I can vibe code knowing where to come back and fix stuff I guess..

The past 24 hours zzz My geeky February zzz I have been adding a monitor to my robot and making mobile controller app on phone zzz I should be making art work for my up coming solo exhibition.. but making robot is sooooo addictive 🩵 zzz
