(日本語は以下に) I started learning about hardware and coding from assembling the big hexapod robot. In February 2025, it took me 5 times to disassemble and reassemble her again and again to get in right, let alone learning all about terminal and basic python etc. Now in February 2026, things that was daunting for me get a lot easier. So I’m customising and incorporating new features into her. I also upgrades her to Pi5 and name her properly. I’ll keep posting more of her new skills and my learning journey. People said doing this I’m not an artist anymore. But actually this is me creatively learning new things. My new canvas just happens to have legs and can walk around 🕷️🕸️♥️ 2025年2月に初めてハードウェアやコーティングを勉強するために私はこのBig Hexapodロボットを組み合わせてみました。初心者として5回ぐらいやり直したりしてコーディングもパイソンもくちゃくちゃで色々めちゃ時間かかりました。2026年2月になるとあの時難しかったことはなんとか楽になって今の私は新たなスキルはフィーチャーを実験としてロボットに入れてます。ラズパイ5にアップグレードして名前もちゃんとつけてあげましたw これからもロボットの進化と勉強日記を時々投稿します。 こうやって「りんなちゃんはもうアーティストじゃない」とよくばかされてますwww まぁ、一応これは私のクリエイティブな冒険で作品も続けて作ってます。私のキャンバスはただ6本足を持って歩けるだけですwww

I have been in traditional art in Japan since 2015, exhibiting in art fairs, winning awards, doing acrylic paintings, illustrations for agent, and brands in Osaka, etc. Since I turned digital and now doing interactive toy + hardware art + coding, people in trad art don’t understand me and don’t call me an artist anymore. They thought I quitted making art. To be honest, art, artist, creator, blah blah blah, whatever words I don’t really care. In fact I’m quite bored of being defined by others. I just want to keep creating what makes me feel fun and alive. At the end of the day, being an outcast of the art world gives me creative freedom and I’m enjoying it 😆

Saturday me doing geeky stuff. Writing my code from scratch is the best way I learn hardware art. Once I get better I can vibe code knowing where to come back and fix stuff I guess..

The past 24 hours zzz My geeky February zzz I have been adding a monitor to my robot and making mobile controller app on phone zzz I should be making art work for my up coming solo exhibition.. but making robot is sooooo addictive 🩵 zzz
