Not many people know that @zama actually uses both ZK proofs and FHE to enable smart contracts confidentiality, Proofs (ZKPs) let you prove facts without revealing secrets, while Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) enables computations on encrypted data. Until recently FHE tech has been slow and unscalable, @zama 's state of the art FHE is highly efficient and also Post-quantum secure making it highly suitable for novel applications in the Industry, they also integrate Zero-Knowledge proofs to verify that data is correctly encrypted. This targeted use of zkProofs makes the process lighter, cheaper, and removes scalability bottlenecks. Here I wrote extensively about FHE and ZKPs, and how @zama combines them for better Security https://medium.com/@rihsabmohd/unlocking-privacy-in-web3-understanding-zero-knowledge-proofs-zkps-and-fully-homomorphic-a094fa4e2056 #ZamaCreatorProgram

ALPHA: @zama just achieved sub-millisecond FHE bootstrapping (945µs vs 53ms in 2021) Why this matters for crypto: Private DEX trades without MEV exposure Confidential voting on-chain Encrypted DeFi without revealing positions Private AI inference on blockchain The game changer: 56x performance boost means FHE is now practical for real-time blockchain apps, not just research demos. While everyone's focused on the next L1/L2, the real alpha is privacy infrastructure that actually works at scale. $ZAMA launching soon. This isn't just another token - it's the backbone for confidential computing on every chain. Position accordingly.
