Assessing regulatory resilience requires examining whether the project proactively complies with legal frameworks in multiple jurisdictions. Projects with transparent KYC/AML policies, licensing, and legal audits are better positioned to survive scrutiny. Token classification matters—if it resembles a security, risk rises significantly. Decentralization also plays a role: projects with strong community governance, distributed infrastructure, and no single point of failure are less exposed. Anonymity in teams or unclear corporate structures are red flags. Evaluating partnerships with compliant custodians, exchanges, or regulated entities provides additional security. Ultimately, projects that plan for evolving global regulations, maintain flexibility in design, and communicate openly about compliance will have stronger defenses against regulatory pressures and sudden legal challenges.
