"Modern Screen Savers" by Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool)
[Ballpoint pen on notebook page with digital embellishments and color.] I asked myself this actual question today. I have an old laptop that is nearing it's inevitable demise, and I wonder if turning it off and on and moving it around a lot is likely to speed up this entropic process... Maybe it would be better to make it into a stationary machine... I used to say that I wasn't very tech savvy, but I don't think that's a good thing to tell myself anymore, so I'm going to say, "Others might have more experience in this area than me," which isn't anything against me. Are you one of those with MORE EXPERIENCE than old grandpa man has, particularly with computer voodoo? If so, let me know if there is a magick tonic that can help provide a bit more longevity to the ancient machine...
