Hey everyone, I wanted to share a piece I just submitted to The Memes by 6529 for voting. It’s based on a photo I took in 2020 during the Pantanal wildfires in Brazil. The smoke spread across the country and reached the Mantiqueira, turning a clear night into something heavy and hard to breathe. At the time, I used light painting in the same tone as the sky, almost as a response to what was happening. I’ve now revisited the image and turned it into a piece about creation, control, and who gets to be seen. I’d really appreciate any support you can give 🙏
