I look forward to the seasonal change every year when the days get shorter and the wind gets colder—not just because of the weather, but also because of the fashion. It seems like a new beginning to replace sundresses with warm sweaters. Encouraged by my buddy Mia, I adopted the big plaid blazer trend last fall. I felt quite sophisticated and self-assured when I wore it with a t-shirt and skinny jeans. As we sipped our lattes, Mia noticed and remarked on my trendy appearance.
