that’s exactly the point - one might intentionally choose not to discover them. think of it as an info-diet / pro-mental health activity. there’s this phrase that encompasses it: jomo, joy of missing out.
overall, it depends on user persona and one’s preference at a specific point in time. sometimes, you might be on constant lookout for alpha / new products, and another time it becomes just too much - even worse if it’s a low quality stream in high volume.
most new tokens are worthless in the first place - they lack substance and sustainability mechanisms built in. very few teams in our industry think and build meaningful products long-term. if something’s truly outstanding, one will find out about it - perhaps not super early, yet early enough for a longer-term bet.
