I think it best to retire the metaverse label. I still think immersive, decentralized virtual worlds hold great potential and have a bright future, but branding them as 'metaverses' will only stunt adoption.
@bored 's /edison for example does an excellent job at providing an engaging and visually appealing experience while avoiding labeling itself as a metaverse. More metaverse projects should adopt this branding strategy imo.
