The number of things people call negligible these days would shock you. Turns out nothing is actually small or unimportant anymore — especially if you’re Nigerian in this Tinubu-era economy.
Before, we could leave rice on the plate or not finish the last drop in a juice carton. Now? People are squeezing the carton itself just to get every single drop. And somehow that’s “negligible,” lol.
Remember when marketers would just toss a nylon into your bag for free? Cellophane, leather bag, doesn’t matter. Now you’re paying for it because the price is no longer negligible, lol.
These are trying times. We’re all just trying to stay healthy and still have something left to face tomorrow. So nothing gets brushed aside anymore. Everything gets noticed, budgeted for, and taken seriously.
