I’m 1001% sure we’ve all heard the metaphor “time is money.” Most people take it at face value, but it goes deeper than cash.
Growing up, on the drive home from church on Sundays we’d listen to highlife on the radio. One song kept repeating, “time na money, use your time.” I asked what it meant, and that’s when I realized it wasn’t literal — it was a metaphor.
It’s not about chasing the bag and never resting. It’s about not wasting time on things that add nothing to you or your life. Take breaks, rest, but make sure the steps you take actually mean something.
I think the person behind that song was looking past money entirely. They were talking about life itself.
