I love being given the chance to act with full autonomy.
It gets frustrating when you’re drowning in suggestions that don’t make sense or add anything to your life or the group’s work. Listening and actually understanding other people’s input matters, but there’s something powerful about weighing it all and then deciding based on what you believe is right.
That choice comes with its own aura, especially when it works out. Suddenly everyone’s saying “you’re the GOAT” and acting like you had it all planned. The truth is, I just did what I wanted to do, and I did it better than everyone else.
I won’t lie — choosing autonomy is often the best call. But be aware of the fallout. Nothing stings more than owning the consequences of a decision that was entirely yours.
