There’s nothing more jubilant than the mood of a house officer walking out of this hospital on a day they’re not on call.
Since I started, I haven’t left early once. I’m working on changing that.
From now on, every day I’m not on call will feel like this — jubilant.
The plan: stay home, watch films, play games, and just enjoy freedom.
I can’t wait for that day to start… and for many more to follow.
