A fervent attitude in medical school is one of the fastest ways to get through clinicals. Show up eager to do procedures, stay intense about getting each patient the right treatment, and that’s exactly what every good attending wants to see. It does more than prove you’re learning. It shows you’re applying the small details, and that repetition locks things in. Do enough catheter changes yourself and you won’t just remember the steps — ward round questions and exam scenarios become almost automatic. When that catherization question pops up, you’ll have already lived the answer. Truth is, that fervent spirit makes med school easier. But pace yourself. Too much fire can burn you out fast.
