Medical school supposably teaches you everything you need to know about the art of patient care. Then internship starts and you realize you know nothing. The classroom is completely different from real life. Everything taught in class is just the surface. The hospital is where the real learning happens. Textbook methods don’t cover the improvised techniques you need to actually get the job done. And because human beings are different, those supposably perfect methods don’t work for everyone. That’s the huge gap between school and life.
