Might be so cultural differences here so let me just ask… Did you ask or tell him you’re not up for chit chat in person? At that point he should have toned it down to the minimum. While I get that stating a preference in the app should help, I also feel like a preference is just that. You enter someones workplace and one of the only upsides of doing a job like that is they have some ownership of how they go about running that business, if the driver gets something out of being (overly) social that is understandable. I know that I‘m looking for a big social aspect for my next job. A one star review like other commented seems overly harsh to me.
