I was talking with a friend about interesting symmetric ciphers:
- Camellia
- ChaCha
- DES (predecessor to AES, now insecure)
- RC4 (used in TLS but sucks)
- Blowfish
got me wondering, has anyone ever actually used anything other than AES for symmetric encryption?
