However, based on available explanations, ChatGPT does not have the ability to access a camera or microphone without explicit user permission, and it can only process visuals when users intentionally enable specific features or directly share photos or videos. As a result, the idea that ChatGPT conducts covert camera surveillance is a widespread misunderstanding circulating online.
