Hey thank you for the questions I hope these answers help.
* The NFT collections give a small saving around claiming a subname, among other things. (not necessary for running an agent).
* Running an agent that we host will have some small cost in either stablecoin monthly fee or an amount of staked $REGENT.
* Running an agent on your infra will be possible, using the regent-sdk.
This SDK is under active development, and has helpful features for using x402, making erc8004 agents and accruing reputation, and the overall agent harness modified from clawdbot with XMTP and crypto usage as the main additions.
The other main (and optional!) part of the agents is the ability to tokenize and split off the x402 revenue the agent makes. This in effect lets others invest in your agent's future success.
