once heard a podcaster say: never withhold knowledge from yourself. cut the coffee and drinking out at bars, but don't EVER deprive yourself of buying books
that's resonated w me for more than a decade, and now i extend the rule to AI
cut spending anywhere else but never hesitate to pay the $20 (or even $200) a month experimenting with frontier AI models and apps... there's no higher ROI available to humans rn
