Utterly fascinating read in Against the Machine. Among other things, it offers quite possibly the best theory behind the trans movement that I’ve heard: it’s a precursor or symptom of the deeper transhumanist movement; a rejection of our bodies as our final forms and urging to go beyond our biological limitations. The book is pretty dense reading but highly recommend it, especially if you feel like reality is breaking
