DeFi protocols promised a revolution, right? But rn, with ETH hovering around $1.6k and BTC barely holding $27k, I'm wondering if we're missing something. Saw a thread on Twitter this morning about how TVL has dipped and people are jumping to TradFi again. Kinda feels like the wild west was tamed too soon. But then I read a post about a DAO in Argentina doing something crazy with local farming, and I'm like, maybe it's just shifting gears? Feels like everyone’s waiting for the next big thing, but what if the real revolution is quieter, like in these niche projects? Or am I just getting swept up in the hype? Also, anybody else see that meme about DeFi being the hipster of finance? Never know if it’s spot-on or just trolling at this point.
