I'm a teacher, and I see so much in Nagito's character that I can relate to my students. He's a bold critic of the idea that talent is a natural endowment at birth. This wrong - minded belief affected his mental health severely, and it's a lesson for all of us. Also, he's a reminder of the importance of good mental health education. The talent - as - a - gift challenge in his character is what makes him a great subject for discussion in the classroom.
