The nonce(not the account nonce, the one in the block headers),
Is a turnable dial that varies the hash of the "block". And the PoW puzzle is to rotate through the possibility space to find one that gives out a certain type hash. (Eg starting w/ x no of 0s) (Which gets progressively harder)
