Web3 Rant: Stepping Back from the Hype I'm stepping back from Web3; I'm sticking with my last remaining projects without adding any new ones. This way, I feel more at peace. Even if the market recovers, a ton of projects will launch their TGE and bail, ultimately dooming themselves over time. In the meantime, we'll grab what we can, then I'll switch to stablecoins. The whole situation screams exhaustion—I'm totally worn out If the Farcaster founders threw in the towel like this, we should've been done ages ago. Everyone's burned out now. Governments jumping into the mix was a bad move in my book; those folks manipulate everything to their liking. With all this negativity, I'm baffled by people still pumping out projects—enough already! Anyone who's cut loose is starting something new. Let the ones who've built real trust handle the work Up until now, I never approached this from a financial angle; I was just in it for the fun, under the umbrella of ecosystem and freedom. To me, this market's downfall stems from opportunists' sheer greed—they never get enough, or maybe we just couldn't satisfy them. At this pace, it feels like everyone's heading back to Web2; Web3 seems like a total letdown—fingers crossed I'm wrong From here on out, we'll shift to Web4, and I'll lay the groundwork myself. At least I'll keep it honest and wallet-friendly. I won't covet anyone's wallet; thank goodness I don't need to. We had a little joy in it all, but they ruined that too. They won't prevail—I'll come back stronger than before. Classic lines, just my way of consoling myself Web3's core issue, I believe, is handing massive opportunities to inexperienced, novice young folks; they see all that money piled up and lose their minds. Most projects hit the scene without investing a dime of their own; the gathered liquidity should sit in public wallets. DAOs, in my view, lose their integrity over time. It's like voting in Web2—none of it reflects real life. Everyone's racing their horse however they please There are plenty of quality projects out there, but they all crash and burn due to poor management, destined to fade away. No matter how much we hype Web3, it's all smoke and mirrors; we're still chained to global economies. We set out preaching decentralization, but the funds just flowed right into centralized wallets I think if the bull market is coming and drops become a hot topic again, those with high-quality wallets will benefit from it This isn't a farewell; I love clarity so much. I wanted to share my ideas with you. I'm still with you; the game isn't over yet

Big follower clean-up done ✅ I just did a major clean-up of the accounts I follow : - Inactive profiles (nothing posted in over 1 month or no signs of life) - Accounts flagged as spam - Neynar score below 0.35 - Incomplete profiles (little or no info, no photo, ...) - Accounts that have never interacted with me - Bots and suspicious accounts - ... ➡️ Around 308 accounts unfollowed My goal: keep a clean network made up only of real, active human profiles. I want to surpass @neynar score of 0.96 – I’m really close now 😂 A huge thank you for this amazing tool that was invaluable in helping me with this clean-up 💜 👉 https://farcaster.xyz/miniapps/w1O_146jGEE9/neynar ℹ️ If I unfollowed you by mistake, feel free to let me know in the comments – I’ll happily review your profile again Taking a short break for now I’ll continue the clean-up in about a week In the meantime, it’s the perfect time to complete your profile and interact a bit more if you’d like to stay in my network 😊
