Today is Victory Day ā a day of pride and achievement for the Bengali nation ā¤ļø
This land and our national flag š§š© were earned through the blood-soaked nine-month-long war, at the cost of the sacrifice of 3 million martyrs and the honor of 200,000 mothers and sisters.
With deep respect and humility, I pay tribute to the brave leaders of the Great Liberation War: the undisputed leader of Bengal, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Major Ziaur Rahman, Tajuddin Ahmad, Captain M. Mansur Ali, A. H. M. Kamruzzaman, General Ataul Gani Osmani, and A. K. Khandker.
I express my profound respect to the millions of martyrs, the intellectuals who were victims of conspiracy, and our mothers and sisters, and pray for the forgiveness of the souls of the martyrs š¤²
