JPMorgan says regulators like the Bank of England prefer tokenized bank deposits over stablecoins. They’re seen as better for settlements and align with fiat rules. Stablecoins still win on liquidity and ease of use. JPM is testing its own tokenized deposit product, JPMD, on Base.
