JPMorgan expects spot Ethereum ETFs to begin trading 'well-ahead of November'. JPMorgan predicts that trading of the recently approved spot Ethereum ETFs will begin much earlier than November. The company views the approval of these ETFs and the overall cryptocurrency market as increasingly political issues.
The SEC has granted approval for Form 19b-4 to eight Ethereum ETF issuers: BlackRock, Fidelity, Grayscale, Bitwise, VanEck, Ark, Invesco Galaxy, and Franklin Templeton. These issuers must still have their S-1 registration statements approved before trading can commence. The timeline for this process is uncertain.
LayerZero announced that the sybil self-reporting phase has concluded, with 803,093 addresses identified as potential sybils, down from over 2 million. In the next two weeks, a community bounty hunt will commence. Participants can report at least 20 sybil addresses and receive 10% of the expected sybil token.
BlockTower Capital’s main hedge fund has been hacke resulting in a partial theft by fraudsters, as reported by Bloomberg. The firm which manages $1.7 billion in assets has not yet seen the hackers arrested. Founded in 2017 BlockTower Capital has invested in notable companies like Dapper Labs Sky Mavis, and Terraform.
