@ramsey: I'm all covered with watches, I don't need any, I have a daily, a beater, a diver and a dress watch. I'm good. Sinn: issues 103 St Sa Ty Hd H (the naming is ridiculous, I know). @ramsey: *starts hyperventilating... Sidenote: Sinn prices are now in the Tudor area and some even slowly creeping into Omega territory. I love the brand, but that's insane. this beauty is โ‚ฌ3.5k (even higher in US, due to tarrifs).

Sinn is one of my favorite watch brands. Sadly, the hike in prices (and the absence of a bull run on the alts I have lol) means I'll probably not own more than the one I have.

Thatโ€™s a clean watch. Maybe in my next life Iโ€™ll be able to get into watches and be able to afford a nice one

That one is one of their basic offering, and plenty of watch aficionados absolutely love it. The legibility is off the charts. And the black is so deep, you can get lost in it. But yeah, even that is over 1k, which is steep. It was a big birthday present. That said, there's still amazing microbrand watches out there that absolutely rock, with affordable prices. @metadavid has a ton of recommendations.

Huge fan of Sinn, and actually my favorite is the OG one that you have. :) I also like the 903 which has an interesting backstory (it's essentially a Breitling). Tbh @dflory3 when it comes to watches, nice can mean a lot of different things. :) With watches like Sinn or Rolex, they do have heritage, and that's very appealing to many people (including myself), and that's what one pays for. There's also microbrands which are often 1-5 people operations. They're new brands without a lot of heritage, but they're a lot less conservative, so they push design/innovation, use similarly high quality materials, are significantly less than major brands. I dabble in both worlds. I don't think I've ever even once gotten a compliment on my Rolex or IWC or other luxury watches...I constantly get them for my microbrands though. :) Do what you want with this information. :)
