@ramon
Does anyone have data on this. But I want to make the naive claim that 99% of the entire human population is doing just 1% of all daily transactions, and there is 1% that does 99%?
My naive hunch here is that 99% of people usually do in total between 0-5 transaction overall (rent, food, transfers, etc). Also those transactions you expect to be fast but not lightning fast if it feels essentially instant and if its sufficiently cheap its all you need. Even if we move into a world where potentially we do continuously small micro payments through agents for smaller services it will never reach a high frequency trading level, or e.g. the 1% with 99% volume.
