Another day researching about @zama , something actually insane for iOS🧐
they built FHE-enabled mobile apps that can process your sensitive data WITHOUT ever decrypting it.
📱Your smartphone has tons of sensitive data - health stats, location, app usage, etc. and apps that use this data basically have full access to it in plaintext.
-even if the app runs locally on your device, once you grant permission, you have zero control over how that data is used.
-some basic protections exist like iCloud KeyChain for passwords, but that only protects data during storage/transfer. during PROCESSING? completely exposed.
