Bitcoin Core always drew a line:
• Monetary data = core use.
• Non-monetary data = tolerated, but discouraged.
Removing the limit means Core is no longer discouraging it — it’s enabling it.
That’s a huge shift. You’re saying:
“Store your memes, hashes, and JPEGs here. You’re welcome.”
Whether that’s good or bad is up for debate, but calling it “not philosophical” is simply false.
