Had an interesting talk with 4yo about police. A police car was driving fast with a signal on, the kid says: ooooh they are going to catch a BANDIT! I responded: police is not only for handling bad stuff honey. Their job is to help out in difficult situations, like when you lose something, get lost, or need a ride back home I didn't realized it is so until I said it out loud. Although police never helped me out I know a few people that received a help from them in difficult situations: like when they drove them home when their car broke or escorted their car when they were droving to a hospital
