it’s wild how when i’m working on an artwork while music plays, i can feel my brain expand and press itself against the scalp and cause tingles. it turns into a sponge, soaking up all the new things that come to the forefront. patterns, textures, colors, beats, melodies and even the bass hidden under all the high hats. the sweet sweet spot between focus and pleasure.
