I’ve spent the past 18 months working on a CPG seaweed product. From farm to formulation, lab to consumer testing, it’s a whole new world for me, having come from art and tech.
It’s been challenging, to say the least. We dealt with a failed crop that set us back a year and pushed us to think more expansively about supply chain. We traversed the country to secure a mission-aligned 3PL and grappled with all the paperwork and compliance requirements this space demands.
It has also been an incredible adventure, one that has brought new friends, coast-to-coast travel, and an obsession with the healing potential of our magical sea fronds.
We now have a killer team, amazing advisors, and a product ready to go.
Really excited for this next chapter. We’re heading into Q2 investor meetings and also exploring opportunities for collaboration, product placement, and UGC.
