Last year, when Jen and I were driving across the country, I texted my friend Ron Smith and said, “Hey friend, got plans on Tuesday?”
Ron, always the chipper one, replied:
“What’s up coach? I’m free. Zoom?”
I said, “No… we’re coming to Shreveport.”
Pretty sure Ron almost fell out of his chair. 😂
I’m so glad we took that detour. Getting that time together was special. Ron is a friend for life and an incredible artist.
