Ethereum’s Fusaka upgrade rolls out on December 3, bringing 8x more blob space and a 60M gas limit. That means Layer-2 fees could drop by 70–90% instantly.
ETH is still sitting at $3,169 on the year because the market largely priced the upgrade in ahead of time.
So while the tech boost is real, the big winners are Base, Arbitrum, Optimism — they get the fee savings as profit.
The upgrade lands… but it’s the L2 tokens, not ETH, that catch the pump.
