the market often treats AVS yield as additive without accounting for correlated slashing risks. Current restaking platforms typically lack transparent risk pricing mechanisms and actuarial data, leading to a yield illusion. Validators may unknowingly overcommit to high-risk AVSs for marginal returns. In addition, Liquid Restaking Token (LRT) protocols obscure individual validator risk profiles, further detaching users from underlying slashing exposure. Without robust risk modeling or insurance backstops, the market is structurally biased toward overestimating safe yield and underpricing the true cost of security violations.
