Mellow has launched its "Automatic Liquidity Manager" (ALM). By 2024, no one is providing liquidity in an infinite range anymore. Liquidity providers (LPs) choose a price range for their assets and say, "Use my liquidity within this range, but not outside of it." This approach allows for more efficient use of liquidity and better earnings from fees. Most protocols only support manual position adjustment. If the asset’s price falls out of the range, you have to manually reposition. Until you do, you won’t earn any fees or incentives. Convenient? Not really. Mellow solves this with ALM: automatic rebalancing to keep your position always within the desired range.
