This new robotic skin gives machines a human-like sense of touch.
Made from a flexible, low-cost gel, it covers a whole robotic hand as one smart sensor.
It feels pressure, temperature, and pain, and can tell multiple touches apart at the same time.
This is a big step beyond older skins that used many separate sensors.
